ADGA DHI Workshop
Southern California Dairy Goat Association is proud to offer a Spring 2018 DHI Workshop
Do you milk your does twice a day?
If you do, you should think about putting them on DHI Milk Test. It's a once a month commitment on test day and there are many payoffs.
* Your does can earn their Milk Stars!
* You gain information on milk components like fat, volume, and protein
* You get to see your does Somatic Cell count each test.
* Gathering info like the MUN values can help you understand if you are providing enough or too much protein.
* Your girls milk info is posted on US cdcb for all to see. This may help you market your kids more effectively.
* Perhaps you have an ADGA Top Ten Breed Leader??
Southern California Dairy Goat Assoc. has organized a workshop to walk you through step by step on how to get started. We will personally hold your hand each step of the way.
Are you interested? Workshop date will be held in February. More than one workshop may be set in order to accommodate all that are interested.
If you can't make the workshop, we will help you on a Facebook Group just for Workshop attendees, over the phone or through email. Point is we will get you started and stick with you until you feel comfortable!

March 3rd, 2018 we will be offering an Tester Q&A and Workshop with Alfred from DHIA West.
Alfred will also be calibrating scales onsitel.
The cost per scale is $10. Anyone is welcome to sign-up in advance and bring their scales without joining the Tester Workshop. We will have both Hanging and Table-Top Scales available for purchase when you register.
The Workshop will include Tester Q&A with Alfred and a Mock Milk Test.
